Empowering Every Child to Learn, Grow, and Succeed
At SIWEC, we believe that it takes a community to raise a child. Our Education Support Programmes are designed to ensure that no child is left behind due to financial constraints or lack of access to academic support.
We focus on helping students from families under SIWEC’s assistance scheme, as well as those supported by the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme and School Assistance Scheme, by covering essential school-related expenses.
What We Provide
Support for NTIL Mother Tongue Subjects
We assist with school fees, textbooks, uniforms, and school bus costs for students studying Non-Tamil Indian Languages (NTIL), ensuring they can fully participate in school life.
Academic Excellence Programme
For students struggling academically and whose families cannot afford tuition, we provide targeted support in core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Mother Tongue.
Impact Snapshot
In 2024, Sikh Welfare Council supported 42 such students, disbursing the total amount of $26,680.
